Live Green with LESS can help you make energy efficiency improvements to your home with a range of subsidies and rebates on energy-efficient appliances and products.

These include competitively-priced LED downlights, free Energy Monitors, free and reduced-cost Draught Sealing and rebates on your new energy-efficient TVs. In addition, you may also be entitled to free Standby Power Controllers, free CFL lightbulbs and free water-saving Showerheads.

There is absolutely no obligation and no hard sell!

Installation of these products may be available for free or at reduced rates, dependent on the services you require.

How can these products and be free or at a reduced rate?

Low Energy Supplies and Services (LESS) is accredited under the Victorian Energy Efficiency Target (VEET) scheme.

The VEET scheme is a Victorian Government energy efficiency initiative which aims to:

Reduce greenhouse gas emissions
Encourage the efficient use of electricity and gas
Encourage investment in the renewable energy sector

This allows us to create Victorian Energy Efficiency Certificates (VEECs) based on how much greenhouse gas we can reduce in your home.

The scheme is marketed to the public as the Energy Saver Incentive (ESI).

How does it work?

Once you have received your free products through Live Green with LESS, you'll be asked to sign a form authorising LESS to register the greenhouse savings from your home with the scheme's regulator, the Essential Services Commission (ESC).

The carbon credits (VEECs) from your free installation are then on-sold. This funds the cost of the products and staff, so you get free energy-efficient and water-efficient products, installed for free.

To sell carbon credits, you must be accredited by the scheme's regulator, the Essential Services Commission (ESC). This is a complicated process, which is simply not cost effective for individuals.

By authorising Live Green with LESS to create the carbon credits on your behalf, you are able to take full advantage of the scheme and receive these services, completely free of charge!

The Victorian Government has set a target of reducing 5.4 million tonnes of carbon emissions.

By installing these free products through Live Green with LESS, the average household will reduce the same amount of carbon dioxide as taking your family car off the road for up to 3 years!*
